Stephen James is the Founder and partner in the Law Firm of Stephen G. James & Associates PLLC. New York office. His private practice focuses on criminal law defense. Mr. James was the Founder and President of a successful Mortgage and Real Estate brokerage firm from 1988 to 2003. He is the first class of 30 Under 30 award recipients. He handles complex matrimonial cases and litigates any issue on behalf of his clients, no matter how big or small they may be. His aggressive courtroom style has led to many favorable outcomes.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. James served as a former assistant to Kings County District Attorney, a former administrative law clerk in. Mr. James served as a Hearing Office presiding over H.S. Suspension with in NYC of Hearings ED. He is the subject of the renowned book “And Justice for Some: The Story of Stephen G. James” by Hugh N. Griffith.
